Taking a cue from the renowned and distinct architectural heritage of Chicago the building is a stylish contemporary project in the River North neighborhood of the city. Encompassing six 2000+ square foot condominiums the unique façade of the building is clad in glass and steel to give it a modern industrial style.

A sculptural floating staircase leads to the top level that houses the serene bedrooms and the spa-like bathrooms. The basement of the house offers an additional living area complete with ab entertainment unit a personal wine cellar and a dedicated home gym.

The first thing that comes to mind when we think of is the picture-perfect holidays and the snowy Alps. Overlooking the town of Weinfelden and offering unabated views of the distant mountains of Switzerland and Austria is this beautiful house clad in wood.

A large opening above the kitchen allows light to filter through from the top floor even as the inimitable Tom Dixon Copper pendant lights add a bright metallic glint to the space. Long corridors double up as storage space with built-in shelves and hidden cabinets while an ergonomic home office is tucked away in the rear.

Surrounding the house is a dense oak forest and the designer took complete advantage of the views outside as they form wonderful framed backdrops in the kitchen the dining room and the bedroom. An open-plan living area with a comfy sectional a corner fireplace and unassuming decor is visually connected with the garden outside. The master suite boys’ bedroom with twin beds and a stylish girl’s bedroom are housed on the top level.

The gorgeous project by Djuric Tardio Architectes is one such smart residence that combines a variety of versatile in crisp contemporary style. Located in Antony the southern suburbs of the innovative house is a completely prefabricated structure that was built offsite in a workshop and assembled in a mere two weeks!

While the street façade of the offers ample privacy the rear of the residence opens up to offer captivating views of the surrounding landscape. Designed by K_M Architektur the floating design of the house gives it an inimitable silhouette while the scenic backdrop adds to its visual appeal.
